Children who struggle in school benefit from tutoring, which helps them gain confidence and skills if they’ve fallen behind. Even if your children are excelling in school, tutoring can still be of great benefit, boosting their confidence and preparing them for the next level.
Students are provided as much one-on-one or small group tutoring as possible during the school day, and after-school remediation is available one afternoon a week for those students who need extra help in reading. But, for many children, the knowledge that there will be a concerned parent at home in the afternoons who talks with the student about what he or she learned in school that day is enough to reinforce the concepts taught and to remind the student of any homework assignments.
